Favorite Travel Experience: I was having dinner in a restaurant in Assisi, Italy set into the hillside, with a view overlooking the countryside and the sun slowly setting. At the bar two Franciscan Monks with full robes and Birkenstock sandals sat, drinking the same local wine we were enjoying. The view was breathtaking, the food was incredible and the people were very special. We stayed out late (10 PM) and the little pensíon that we were staying in locked its doors. The proprietor was sleeping in a chaise lounge awaiting our return. He let us in and gave us a drink and sent us off to bed!

Favorite Travel Experience: On my recent trip to Jamaica, I had the opportunity to take my 13 year old daughters to The Success School in rural Hopewell, one and half hours inland in the hills of the island.  We delivered school supplies to this elementary school and spent the day with the students there.  This glimpse into the everyday life of the local school children was an excellent experience for all of us.

Interesting Personal Fact: Before my recent career change, I was involved in producing a world re-known Bluegrass Music Festival for over 20 years, The Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Music Festival.  In 2007, the festival was awarded the International Bluegrass Music Association Event of the year at the Annual Award show in Nashville, TN.
